Introducing Arbor + Field

A New Name for the Next Chapter of Our Farm

September 14, 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of our farm. To celebrate the occasion, we're excited to announce the official rebrand of Hoppy Valley Farm to Arbor + Field—a name rooted in discovery, growth and everything that flourishes when its shared.  

Over the last 10 years, things have changed quite a bit. We moved away from our original plan, made some incredible discoveries, learned a lot about the land (and ourselves) and brought some pretty remarkable food to the table. 

Somewhere along the way, we found a purpose much bigger than where we started—and a name that no longer fit us.

Our Purpose

Today, our work centers on rediscovering overlooked native botanicals, and reimagining them into food so good it belongs at every table. We make food that reconnects people to the landscape around them. Food that tells a story. Food that reminds us to slow down, look a little closer, and savor the good that's right in front of us.

Our Future

Over time, we want Arbor + Field to become a living example of what a small farm can be when it works with the landscape and not against it. That means continuing to explore native botanicals and overlooked food resources, finding ways they can create greater value for other small growers, and building a community around the growers, foragers, makers, chefs and curious people who help bring them forward. We imagine botanical gardens, workshops, shared kitchen space, farm visits, dinners and opportunities to participate—to taste, learn, forage, grow and make things with your own hands.

To the friends, family, farmers, makers and small-business community who have been part of our journey thus far: thank you.

You welcomed us into your homes and fields, onto your tables and shelves, and into conversations that shaped us in ways you probably don't even realize. You gave us room to brainstorm, test, learn and discover alongside you—and helped us see how much bigger this could become. We quite simply wouldn't have gotten this far without you.
